This is the main beach of the town. There are several coconut trees here, swaying in the breeze. Alibag beach has the blackest sand of the region. One can wade out to the Kulaba fort, 1- 2 km off the shore from the Alibag beach.

You can go to Alibag by S.T. bus from Mumbai. From Mumbai to Alibag having daily 35-40 S.T. buses. MSRTC buses are available from Mumbai Central Bus Stand.

Take a car or a taxi from Mumbai. Alibag is on the way to Goa from Mumbai.

By Boat

You can go to Alibag from Mumbai via sea. There is launch service available from the Gateway of India.
