It is a hot tourist destination in Konkan region. Ganpatipule is famous for its white sand long stretches of beaches and the 400-year-old ‘Swayambhu’ Ganpati temple. Ratnagiri is the nearest airport and rail station.


The most important events celebrated in Ganpatipule are Gauri Ganpati and Magh Chaturthi. The specialties of Ganpatipule are ambapoli and phanspoli – thin pancakes made of dried and crushed mango and jack fruit.
