Ratnadurg fort, commonly known as Bhagavati Fort is surrounded by Arabian Sea on three sides and its horseshoe shape. The chief attraction for the travelers is the beautiful Bhagavati temple which is located inside the massive Ratnadurg Fort. There is a lighthouse near the fort, from which the entire Ratnagiri city and the beautiful sea can be viewed.
